What I’m working on now: Haunting West View - A middle grade horror- Going to the abandoned school was a silly adventure. It couldn't really be haunted... Ivy Cooper is thrilled to move back to her old town, but the kids at her school seem to know more about her past than she does. Certain her answers lie in the abandoned elementary school, she convinces her best friend Brianna to join her for an afternoon of exploration. Once inside, a freak storm traps the girls. Brianna's afraid of the dark, the storm, and the ghost. It's something else that frightens Ivy. Brianna's changed, and although she claims she wants to escape--everything she does leads them deeper into the school. Next Stop - Danger -A middle grade mystery- Olivia Ryan’s new bus driver is a nightmare. It’s not because he yells, or assigns seats, or picks her up fifteen minutes early. He does do all of those things, but it’s the other stuff that scares Olivia. Like the way he stops at that creepy abandoned gas station every day. Or the way he threatens to have students kicked off the bus if they tell on him. Mostly it’s the way he lies to the principal and her parents to cover the whole thing up. Five kids. One new bus driver. Two unscheduled stops. And one plastic bag. Five kids must put aside their differences and join forces to figure out their bus driver's secret. What they find is worse than anything they imagined, and soon they realize they'll have to fight to get out alive. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My short story Visions is published in Issue # 5 of Timeless Tales magazine: http://www.timelesstalesmagazine.com/ |
